Alicia Adams (she/her) lives in the forest with her spouse, young daughter, and cat. When she was working on her MFA, a professor told her that being a poet changes you; you start to become the kind of person who picks up worms after the rain and sets them safely back in soil. Alicia doesn’t write many poems anymore, but she still rescues worms after the rain.
