William Mangieri
I’ve been an author of Speculative Fiction since June of 2008 (I start the clock then because that was when I completed my first story.) Since then I have written and indie-published a novel (“Swordsmaster”), nineteen collections, and over ninety short speculative fictions – four of which (“Purr Mission”, “Breathing Is Overrated”, “Date Night”, and "Two Buttons to Eternity") received Honorable Mentions and one ("The View From My Cage is Breathtaking") a Silver Honorable Mention in the Writers of the Future contest. I’ve been published on Daily Science Fiction, and my stories are available through Amazon Kindle Direct, Smashwords, and Smashwords’ affiliates.
I have maintained a WordPress blog (https://williammangieri.wordpress.com/) for several years, and operate on a current posting schedule of three days per week (Meandering Monday, Writing Wednesday, and Fractured Fragment Friday.)Works Published in DreamForge
Every dollar we receive through subscriptions, Patreon, Kickstarter, Kofi, and sales of our print and ebooks (through Amazon and our website) goes directly to supporting authors and artists. Our entire operation runs on volunteer efforts, ensuring that every contribution helps new and established authors from around the world tell their uplifting stories of hope.
If you’re an author, consider joining our Patreon at the DreamCaster level. This exclusive tier grants you access to monthly Zoom meetings featuring special guests and discussions designed to help you grow as a writer and navigate the business of writing. Can’t make a meeting? Members also get access to a library of recorded sessions.
Please consider supporting DreamForge Magazine.
DreamForge is a volunteer effort supported by Dreamers like you. Every small donation helps us to buy hopeful stories and help new authors learn how to bring hope into this crazy world.
Hope is not an illusion; it's a perspective backed by engagement with the world, whatever the condition of the world may be. Like the crew of the Enterprise, we don't expect everyone to share our values, only that we will engage them with ours, and in the course of doing so, possibly, just possibly, win a better future.
Thank you for your support!
